Resume Writing : Resume Title

Your resume title gives the first impression of your resume or professional profile. The goal of your resume title is to compel employers to keep reading your resume.

If you are job seeker, include words that highlight your skills and experience .

Your resume/ profile title shouldn't be more than 120 characters - including spaces. You may use abbreviation to save space.

The title should be relevant to the job or the name of the job you are applying for. for instance, If an employer is looking for a J2EE web developer who has more than five years experience, The title of your resume could be:" 7 years as J2EE developer", or " Expert in Java open source development and testing". The remainder of your resume should demonstrate why you are qualified for that position.

Your resume title could include your desired job target and the number of years of experience.
